The China Transportation and Logistics Think Tank Alliance was established

On August 7, the "Second China Transportation Long-Term Development Strategy Seminar," hosted by the China Association of Transportation, was held in Beijing. At the seminar, the China Association of Transportation, together with the Ministry of Transport's Planning Research Institute, Scientific Research Institute, Highway Research Institute, China Railway Science Research Institute, Tsinghua University, Beijing Jiaotong University, and other institutions, established the "China Transportation and Logistics Think Tank Alliance."
Representatives and experts from the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Transport, China Railway Corporation, and other units, under the theme of "Exploration, Innovation, Adaptation, and Leadership," jointly discussed the development status, challenges, and future development strategies of China's transportation industry.
At the seminar, Sun Xiaonian, deputy chief engineer of the Ministry of Transport's Scientific Research Institute, delivered a speech analyzing the key points of the comprehensive transportation development strategy during the 13th Five-Year Plan period and putting forward policy recommendations; Lin Zhonghong, deputy director of the Railway Ministry's Economic Planning Research Institute, shared the development ideas of modern railway logistics; Ma Ming, senior engineer of the Ministry of Transport's Planning Research Institute, introduced the background, main content, and tasks of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei integrated transportation strategy; Hu Huaqing, executive deputy director of the Civil Aviation Development Research Institute, exchanged views on the development tasks of civil aviation during the 13th Five-Year Plan period.
